The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) hired Stone Mountain Sound to develop a system for a multipurpose room—a room used for web conferencing and training, as well as video and audio recording. To accommodate such a variety of uses, we outfitted the room with two large 4K displays, two remote controllable cameras, stage lighting, loudspeakers, wireless microphones, and an easy-to-use touch screen user interface. We also stocked a separate control room, allowing an operator to record or stream audio or video content without disturbing the meeting or training session.
In Camden, Stone Mountain Sound had the pleasure of overhauling the town conference room’s tech. Since the room’s configuration can vary by event, we chose wireless microphones and remote controllable video cameras to easily accommodate any arrangement. We also installed a new video switching and streaming system, as well as a media content playback system to handle dead air on the local cable access channel.
At Frontier, Stone Mountain Sound took care of the systems as part of their cinema renovation, replacing the room’s existing loudspeakers, amplification, video switching, and stage lighting. Since the space is used for both film screenings and music, we made sure to design system to accommodate both. In addition to renovating the cinema, we also installed projection and stage lighting in the venue’s new event space.
When Kids First moved into their new space, they turned to Stone Mountain Sound for help with their tech. We added wall-mounted television to their conference room, a projector to their new training room, and a complete microphone system to make observing training room activities from another room possible. Like many of our clients, a big concern of Kids First was simplicity. They wanted to be sure we developed something that could be operated by someone who wasn’t a polo-wearing AV nerd. On top of designing a system that any novice could operate, we also gave them step-by-step reference guides for basic functionality.
